Usability.
I’ve read about, talked about and tried to work through so much usability stuff in the last year, I swear I could now be a guru!
Let me sum it all up in a few short tips.
1. Know the purpose of your site.
2. Know your users.
3. Learn how to write for the web.
4. Keep it simple as possible.
5. Go with common sense.
You get it? How’s that for usability??

Regarding advertising on the web. I find it interesting that the major TV broadcast networks
have chosen to offer subscriptions to their “live” tv websites, rather than embed advertising in their web programming (as they do
in their broadcasts), thereby enabling them to offer a free-to-viewer web tv programming service. I also find it interesting that movie
downloads services do not embed advertising in
their older movies, charging the advertiser instead of the viewer.
