XHTML in Dreamweaver MX

October 10, 2002 | Comments 0 Comments

So I found a neat little trick in Dreamweaver MX today.

I had done the upgrade and was setting Dreamweaver to code nicley formed XHTML, using this great tutorial, when I thought to myself, “Hmmm, it’d be nice if I didn’t have to go down and manually edit all the objects, maybe they are posted on the Web somewhere?”

Well, the folks at Macromedia have gone one better - maybe this is old news - but it’s news to me:

When you go to create a new document there is a little checkbox that reads “Make Document XHTML compliant.” Just check that and you’re all set!
