So, Whistler was fun, if not too snowy. We didn’t get up to the mountain, but we had a great time. I spent awhile last night trying to get caught up with all that is going on with y’all out there in cyberspace. I’ve not had much time to do anything but work (you know at my real job), play and get ready for the holiday. Hopefully that will change with the coming of New Years.

ANYway, there’s been lots going on in the last week or so.

Signal vs. noise got an XHTML make over. Nice work!

Css-d moved to Evolt.

The W3C has released a new XHTML 2.0 working draft.

Peter Van Dijck and Phil Murray have started The Faceted Classification Discussion (FCD) mailing list. BTW - Van Dijck has a nice and simple definition of what an Information Architect is - check it out.

Ordinary-Life has added a rather humorous custom 404 page, and a link to a quick how-to. I still need to do that here.

Joe Clark answered some questions over at Slashdot. His book is great by the way.

Both Digital Web and Boxes and Arrows put out some great stuff. Wow they’re great. I’m really looking forward to the All About Facets Controlled Vocabularies series. I can see how this can be applied to real world problems, but I still don’t have a good handle on it. It might be just what the doctor ordered.

And as has been the case in the last few weeks, Zeldman made some nice updates (and posts) to his site.

Hopefully I’ll have time to do the same. Ciao for now.
