4...3...2...1...BLAST OFF!

We launched a huge project today. It’s an extranet for our Medical Staff and community referring physicians — as you can imagine a pretty big deal down at the hospital and one that I’ve been very involved with for a very long time.

It’s nice to see it launched and out there.

Speaking of blast off, I’ve soft launched Asterisk* with a new design. You may notice some funky-ness as I update templates and tweak the design on the fly, ala Zeldman. Some of you have expressed loss at the retiring of the fancy green background, but never fear, I’ll keep the main page template (index_2002.php) around if you feel the need to go back to it.

Hope you all like the new design — it’s part of an overhaul of the whole site, and with my ever growing workload, you’ll probably notice a slow migration of features and changes into the site, rather than a big slam dunk launch.
