So I’m working on a redesign of Asterisk* and eventually this whole site. For this perticular part of the site it might be a bit of an un-design. I want to do something a bit different.
In anycase, if you are so inclined you can take a gander at the preview.

I like so far, simple and readable. Though I think your older site had a bit more personality. Needs a dash of “you” in there I think.

I like the new design too, I’m undecided if I like it better than the old one. In switching back and forth, it seems like the new one is more “breath-able” and open. I like the photo area. I look forward to seeing the end result.

Thanks for taking a peek and your comments fellas. “Breath-able” and open is kind of what I’m shooting for – as well as a bit more focus on the content and other parts of the site that you don’t see yet.
My hope is that the personality of the site will come through in other new ways. I understand what you are seeing though, James. Part of that is by design so I guess I’m on the right track.
