Better text formatting in MT. Bigity-BAM!

Well that is one potential headache I forsaw in my future kicked to the curb.
It looks like there are going to be some really great features in the next version of Movable Type.
Simple and powerful text formatting sounds killer and will solve some sticky problems both at home and down at the day job.
An explaination? You bet!
Down at the hospital we’ve decided to use Movable Type quite a bit. We’ve got many of the feature areas on our Intranet hooked up with Movable Type and it seems to be working like a charm. Things like the calendar, announcements, news blurbs, even feature news items, are all going to be handled with Movable Type. As we’re non-profit, the only price is elbow grease. Although, even if we we for-profit it’d be worth it as MT is a pleasure to work with for the most part and even at its worst not as hard as every other CMS I’ve come across.
We’ve not rolled it out, or had any content owners get down to using it, but I’m sure it’ll be perfect. New features like this one just make life easier and the site that much better.
I can’t say how impressed I am with MT and everything it brings to the table. If there was any doubt in my mind that it could be used widely in a corporate setting, they’re gone. Long gone.
Big props to Ben and Mena and everyone who has helped to make MT such a great tool.
