Example Personas.

Ever since Practical Persona Creation went up over at Evolt, I’ve had a few requests for examples of personas. Unfortunatly the personas I’ve done at my day job are very specific to the hospital sites and might not be very helpful outside of that context. I do however have a few that I’ve done for the Daisy Bead company site I’m working on that might be of use.
I didn’t have the opportunity to do alot of usability testing or interviews for that site so I just created two personas to represent their average user and another specific secondary audience for that site. I cleaned them up a bit for posting, but the general format is what I’ve been using is the same. One thing to point out, depending on the site and the requirements the information gathered may be different. With these I asked alot of questions about online shopping and other things related to the Daisy Bead site - down at the hospital we asked many questions about the relation to the hospital, family life, the current site. I think you’ll get the gist.

Sara Locke (Daisy Bead’s primary persona) and,
Jane King (Daisy Bead’s secondary persona).
