Is A List Apart Dead?

February 20, 2003 | Comments 2 Comments

Anyone out there know what happened to A List Apart? It seems like for the last year or so it’s been slowly fading away. It’s too bad. I’d ask The Man, but I hear he’s busy writing a book or something…

(insert cheezy grin here)

Ah, well, he ever replies to my e-mails anymore anyway, I wonder if it was that whole Eric Meyer mix up?

No, really, if anyone knows anything — fill me in. I’m missing my ALA fix.

You’re right on the money there–I hardly ever visit that site any more as new articles are very few and far between.

Ah well, plenty of other sites to take up the slack–I’m looking forward to a an even better digitalweb now that you’re on board!

I’m pretty bummed about it too. Here it is - October 11th - and the last publication date on ALA was August 31st. Nothing at all for the month of September, and October is 1/3 through.

I’ll have to check out this digitalweb Christian is talking about. Sitepoint.com has been decent, but doesn’t focus much on design.
