More on ESPN's redesign.

Along with the ESPN homepage redesign they’ve also made available (although a bit hard to find) the nice and simple ESPN lite. It seems to be a mainly CSS driven and mostly tableless design that lets you filter out all the “extras” and cut straight to the news.

This coupled with the new thick client homepage makes for some really great options. I’m not to sure why they made the lite version so hard to locate, even if they are trying to push ESPN Motion, but aside from that, the fact that they are providing the lite alternative at all is surprising and I think a really great way to go.
