Major Projects.

As the world gets ready to go to war and I get ready to head down to San Francisco for UI 7 West and to try and crash Flash Forward, work continues and life goes on.
This week I started working on a rework of my DKR Productions site. It was first put up about a year ago and there is quite a bit I need to change. Mostly content, although I figured a total revamp would be nice. My main goal is going to be to better depict what it is I can do, as well as target better the kind of freelance work I want to work on. I don’t imagine that taking too long.
In even bigger news, the redesign of the external site down at the hospital is back on track. Thanks in big part to Brian, who has been driving and making inroads and Christian who has been lobbying to get the project signed off on (literally) and pushed through. It’s been a team effort, but I have to say those two came up big time in the last month or so.
We’ve done our user research and testing, Brian and I nailed down the design last week (for the most part), the IA and wireframes are signed off on, content is in the work and I’m ready to get building the templates and polishing it off for production. I don’t think the site will be totally tableless, but I’m hoping for a fully standard transitional design that we can grow with.
Wish me luck.
