Is CSS a bunch of crap?

Well, if you ask me — no. Not really.
I got an email from Brian today. Here it is:
It’s super-web-geeky, but there was a hot debate this past week over tableless, all CSS design, here are the links:
This whole issue reminds me of the uproar against Flash a few years back, where newbies and gurus alike got their panties all in a bunch. It’s entertaining, a bit funny and in the end, as with all things Web at this point in time, there really is no right or wrong.
If you are interested, here are my thoughts on this from a few weeks back.

1. CSS was not created to replace tables.
2. Absolute visual control is antithetical to the nature of the Web
