Taylor by Jack JohnsonThe Artist: Jack Johnson
The Song: Taylor
The Album: On and On
Released 2003

It’s pretty simple, and I guess that’s why I like it. With On and On, Jack Johnson brings back his formula of catchy lyrics, groovy guitar and good vibes, and although little has changed from Brushfire Fairytales, it’s still all good. While there isn’t much new, there is a lot to love, songs like Rodeo Clowns, Taylor (this weeks song) and The Horizon Has Been Defeated will bring a little smile to your lips and a little jig to your step every time.

If you like Jack Johnson or just like good, mellow, easy flowing music, this is a must have. It’s a great album. It’s just that simple.

Recommended if you like: Ben Harper, Dave Matthews, Jason Mraz, Pete Yorn

I was introduced to Jack Johnson music about one year ago. I havent stop listen to it since. I am a guitar player and ever since I have started listen to his music and playing his music, my guitar playing has improved alot more. His music is relaxing and enjoyable. My band and I cover alot of his music and it is funny cause when we play and bars and pubs people never heard of him or any of his music but the always stay for the whole show because they enjoy it. Always at the end of the night they ask who writes the song you guys play, and I tell them that it is from Jack Johnson and they say that they are going to buy his cds. The next time we are playing they come up to us and say that they bought the on and on cd and it was so good that the went and bought the other ones. He makes the best music and I will always listen to him. I started to buy his cds in bulk and started to sell them at are shows for the orignal price(dont want to make a cent of them just want people to enjoy his music)and they sell evertime I end up running out. That Jack!
