AIGA L.A. Redesign

Speak Up has a fairly candid discussion about AIGA L.A.’s newly redesigned site going on.
Frankly I think the site a trainwreck and a good example of how not to add visual style to a Web site. And that’s just for starters, but then again, what do I know? I had to check it in three browsers just to make sure I was seeing it right. Seems I don’t have a clue. ;)

I actually kinda liked it, in a messy, I’ll never visit again kinda way.
The drop-down on the left has a few more ‘skins’ - server-side code needed to do that, seemingly, since it’s table-based - and they’re both much nicer.

Am I wrong in thinking the Seattle AIGA site was recently redesigned? It’s not bad, but not really good either.
Anyway, Byron, who is “we”?? Is that “we” as in “me and my AIGA Seattle friends” or “we” as in “Me myself and I” or “we” as in the editorial we?
We have to say it bugs and confuses the heck out of us when people use the editorial “we” when we shouldn’t.
Crap. Now you got us, damn, ME doing it. ;)

We as in, “me and my AIGA Seattle friends.” The redesign is in progress and hasn’t been published yet.
