Referrer Lurking -- Tableless & UFL

While checking my referrers today, as I like to do every now and again, I came across a few interesting items.
First, and I can’t imagine I didn’t miss some bandwagon on this one, is Tableless, a wonderful Brazilian site with some great tableless examples of some rather well known sites. It’s all in Portuguese, and even though I don’t read or speak a lick, the message comes through great.
Second, it seems my example personas have made it into the curriculum down at the University of Florida. That’s too cool, I hope they don’t mind me linking. It looks like a really good class, and I like how the instructor uses great resources from all over the Web. That’s forward-thinking for you.
I’ve still not gotten any comments from the students down there, but I imagine it’s only a matter of time and I’m looking forward to it.

Isn’t that Jesse James Garrett’s alma mater? I wonder if he had anything to do with creating the class.

I’m an avid reader of Asterisk and am glad you like the course. The students found have found your examples very helpful.
As for JJG, I had lunch with him yesterday and he’s a great Gator alumnus. BTW, I just started his book last night and it’s excellent, so far. If it finishes as well as it has started, it will be the required text next semester.

Thanks for stopping by Mark, and kudos to you for putting together what looks to be a very great course. Wish I could take it actually.
I’m also looking forward to reading your newly started blog - I’m sure you’ll be able to share some great experiences with the rest of us.
