Lebron James is the real deal, heck he’s already got his own Web site. This kid, 18 years old, could very well turn out to be one of the best ballers ever.
For those of you who don’t know — I’m a big sports fan. I like most sports, but my favorite is Basketball.
I spent the last two nights watching Lebron play and I’m really, really impressed. The thing his, he doesn’t look like a rookie, let alone an 18 year old rookie fresh out of high school. He has the size, the moves and the court awareness of a veteran.
What is just as impressive is his poise and attitude. Watching him hold court in front of hordes of reporters the other night reminded me of watching MJ.
This guy is something special.
I also think he can be great for a league that really needs heros. There are some great young stars coming up in the NBA, we’ve got one here in Seattle in Luke Ridnour (who put on a show when I saw him live last week, but doesn’t have his own Web site…yet) and if these kids can stay healthy and stay out of legal trouble (sorry, Kobe, but guilty or not, you fucked up) the future of the NBA looks bright.
