Asterisk* Site Problems

This is a post to let all you know that my site is experiencing some problems at the moment. Many of my cgi scripts are down (comments being the main one) as it looks like someone was trying to hack my scripts.

As my hosts support put it — “someone must have found your public forms and started trying to crash your site.”

Not sure what that means exactly or how I can prevent it. My host suggested a login for each user who wants to use the forms, but that isn’t acceptable at all, it kind of defeats the purpose of allowing comments.

I did notice a bunch of new comment spam (which I can’t delete as I don’t have access to MT-Blacklist) so maybe that’s what’s up??

Anyway, please be patient and feel free to contact me if you want to comment or anything while those forms are down.

Hopefully things will be back to normal and I won’t have to switch hosting providers.
