Would you mind sharing your thoughts about Microsoft's Internet Explorer?

Well I suppose I could.
In the main I find it a far inferior browser to just about everything else out there. My browser of choice is Mozilla and I often use Safari as well.
For the most part I only use IE (5.5 on my PowerBook and 6.0 on a PC) for testing. I find it’s much easier to develop for Mozilla first and then work out the IE issues.
The fact that Microsoft has, in essence, abandoned development of IE for the foreseeable future — it’s pretty much vaporware in my book. Highly used and annoyingly persistent vaporware, but vaporware none the less.
I could go on and on, but instead I’ll point you to an article I wrote about switching to Mozilla. That pretty much sums up my thoughts on the browser wars.
