SXSW and XFN

I’ve been working on updating and adding to my list of links with all the great people I’ve met in the last few days. It’s XFN friendly and I’ve tagged just about everyone I spent more than a few minutes talking to as a friend. I hope everyone’s cool with that.
After-all you can’t have too many friends right, and I consider myself a pretty good one when it comes down to it.
I think XFN is a great idea and it seemed to get quite a bit of attention. From the cool little XFN Friendly stickers Photo Matt was passing out to Tantek’s short presentation on XFN during the “Ridiculously Easy Group Forming” panel and many hall-side conversations in between, it seemed like XFN was one of the hot topics this year.
As you may know, I’ve done a bit of work to make my link list XFN friendly. I’d thought it might be a bit hard to maintain, but it’s not so bad. Hopefully in future versions of Movable Type there’ll be a way to add keywords across multiple entries or something.
In any-case, if I met you recently and your not on my list I imagine you will be shortly. That is, unless you have no site for me to link to. It’s been great meeting everyone and making new friends. Hopefully I’ll see everyone, and some new friends, next year!

I have been slowly building an XFN Link list as well.
Slow going for me right now, mostly because I am still tinkering around with WordPress.

Hey awesome, I’m glad I found this post. I hadn’t yet heard of XFN. I like the way the site you linked describes it as a way to “represent human relationships using hyperlinks”. Very interesting concept…
