Spring Into...Winter?

The two pictures you see here were taken four hours apart. The first in Seattle, which is full into spring and the second just after I arrived in Edmonton.
It’s snowing like crazy here. I guess it’s nothing to major for the locals but for me it’s pretty wild. I love snow, so it’s great.
Here are a few more quick shots from around the city.

It’s weird how nobody ever looks how I imagine them.

Wow, The weather is huge different with Texas. I don’t even have a chance to enjoy the spring! Actually it’s summer already. Have a nice trip! :)

ironic. today (in Seattle) it was the worst day in a long time. Rain, wind, and just damn cold. You gotta stop leaving Seattle, you take our good weather with you!!

Dave – I’m doing a bit of consulting for Capital Heath System up here.
DarkBlue – It’s funny, most people I’ve met in person (via online) are very much like I pictured them. But there are few who are vastly different.
Aaron – Hey! When I was in Austin it was pretty bleak there and very nice in Seattle. Plus, I didn’t “take” anything but cold and snow – it’s not nice here at all. So I don’t know whatc’er talkin’ bout.

You in Edmonton! Cool! What a small world, I live here. Yes weather not the greatest, we got a dump of snow over the past 2 days, it was nice and warm before that. City kinda small, boring most of the times. How long you here for?

Just since yesterday. I’ve basically been downtown and out to the university. No – I’ve not been to the West Edmonton mall, and won’t be able to make it out there this trip. It was too short.
Maybe next time.

Edmonton’s a psycho city with varying weathers. When the Junos (Canadian Grammys) came by (just a week before), it was summer weather, no snow, and people were wearing sandals and shorts. As if the good weather was just there for the musical celebs.
There was one particularly crazy day where it snowed in the MORNING, and by the afternoon, it had all melted away and it was back to spring weather, shorts, and sandals.
AH, Edmonton…

Yes, that is Edmonton. I wonder how long this snow will last. It’s supposed to be warm next week again. And it will be a car wash week again..
