Corporate Communication...In Vegas!

Tomorrow I head out for the 13th Annual Corporate Communicators Conference in Las Vegas. That and a bachelor party next weekend.
It should be a very educational and exciting experience for me. It’s not anything like a conference that I would normally attend, as it’s audience is primarily made up of people that I’d consider more like my clients and stake-holders in projects I work on than myself.
I’m not speaking or anything, I’m really there to learn. I chose this one because I wanted to really try and learn about (and from) folks with whom I work on a day-to-day basis and probably will work with for years to come. By better understanding these folks I can better do my job.
There are quite a bit of Web related sessions and a whole lot about blogging. It’ll be very interesting to see how these folks view blogs and how they envision using them for communication tools.
I’ll be sure to let y’all know all about it. Also, by all means if you are in Las Vegas or plan to be there between tomorrow and Sunday, shoot me an e-mail.
The conference schedule leaves plenty of room for fun and I plan on taking full advantage.
