Emotional Response Experiment

I want to try an experiment and I’m hoping my readers will help me out.
What I want to do is this:
- Post a photo/image of something once every other week. It can be of anything, I plan to try and put all sorts of varied images in front of you.
- Have my readers comment with their initial reaction, feeling or thought.
Similar to a Rorschach test.
I think it’ll be really interesting to see how people react to different images, I don’t know if we’ll learn anything, but it should be fun and at the very least I’ll get some interesting information about the people who come to my site.
I’ll do this every other Sunday, beginning today.

Hmmmm, this has potential. In light of a recent article posted here on asterisk may I suggest some risqué or better yet, outlandish images. Nothing porn like or smutty, just… a little questionable. Like some of the earlier Benetton marketing pieces. Then it would be REALLY interesting to observe some peoples reactions ; )

Like a word association test but visual. There’s a word association one at Luna Nina.
Cool idea, can’t wait to start!

Ray – I plan on posting all sorts of images. Some will have “meaning”, some won’t. Some will be pictures, but I may do screenshots, etc.
I want to keep it very open and by all means, give me any suggestions you may have.

So will you eventually post your own thoughts on the images?
Also, has your comment form always been devoid of a Remember Me checkbox?

J. J. – Well, I’m not sure about posting my own thoughts. As I pick the image they might not really be valid as an initial impression. I may add a comment at the end with a kind of summary or something.
The remember me box is on the preview page.
