HAPPY NEW YEAR Y’ALL!

Yo, yo! It’s Sauvere in the house this New Year’s Eve. Keith is taking the day off, he’s not feeling to good, and so it’s up to me to get this party started. 2005 is almost here and I’d like to welcome it in with a true party cut. But what to play? Who’s got the track that’s got those ass-shakin’ beats we’ll need to do this right?

Kutmasta Kurt’s got some good beats. Oh, and he did something with Kool Keith last year. Ahh, yeah, Kool Keith. He’s my man.

It’s been awhile, you know, since he’s come out with something to get Sauvere out on the floor. He’s put out some good stuff, but it’s been since Sex Style now that I think about it. Keith is best when he’s himself, you know. Well, unless you count when he’s Dr. Octagon—it doesn’t get much better than that.

Diesel Truckers has some pretty good tracks on it. In fact it’s a solid party album across the board, but it’s got some deep moments as well. We’ll need to pick a track that really breaks the party of…Breaks the party off, that makes me think about…Oh, yeah, “Break U Off” would be perfect.

It’s got some cheesy lyrics, a kickin’ beat and a nasty hook. Oh and it mentions me, your host, Sauvere. Yeah, let’s do that. With that decided it’s time to party.
