Self-Employed and Home Loans

I’ve been curious lately about the challenges of getting a home loan while self-employed. Of course when searching for some information on Google, all I can find is less than informative sales information from loan companies.

I (obviously) don’t mind advertising and such, but when I get to a page where someone is selling something like a home loan, I would expect a bit more information.

Ah well, anyway, I thought I’d do a quick post to see if any of my readers had any information, advice or lessons learned about getting a mortgage while self-employed.
