It's The Chronic-what?

-cals of Narnia!

The Cronicicals of Narnia Rap is one of the funniest things I’ve seen on TV in quite awhile. Lots of people are talking about how SNL is on a slide, and they may be right, but they’ve still got some funny stuff and good talent. Amy Poehler cracks me up.

Give this one a watch if you’ve not seen it. Really funny stuff.

I saw this when it aired. That is easily one of the funniest things I’ve seen on SNL in a while. I think these new guys are a great addition. (not Chris Parnell, obviously)

The women are the only thing keeping SNL going. There’s not one un-funny woman on that show right now.

Have to agree, Tina Fay and Amy Poehler own that show right now. Weekend Update for the first time since probably Kevin Nealon cracks me up pretty regularly.

Right on. I saw this when it was on TV and I laughed so hard it hurt. Watching it again today was a great way to start a monday morning.

I’ve continued watching SNL over the years because of little gems like this. I have to give props to Chris Parnell for being able to pull something like this off. It’s kind of a departure from his typical roles on the show but both him and Andy Samberg managed to pull it off perfectly.

@mikedeh: That was one of my favourites lines too. Some other favourites:

“let’s hit up yahoo maps to find the dopest route”

and

“it’s all about the Hamilton’s baby!”

I tivoed it and I’ve watched that one skit probably about 3094823435 times already, and I laughed just as much as I did the first time.

That is the funniest skit I’ve seen in awhile. Weekend Update gets me laughing on consistent basis, but Chronicles of Narnia skit is definitely one of the funniest skits I’ve ever seen period.

OMFG….

“You can call us Aaron Burr from the way we’re dropping Hamiltons!”

That’s about the funniest sh*t I’ve seen all year.

But seriously, I’ve been hearing that “SNL sucks now” since I started watching the show back in 1992. And just as soon as one cast leaves, the critics will stop bashing them and start talking about how good they were and how the new cast sucks.

Out of character for Parnell? He is always looking for an opportunity to bust a rhyme on SNL. The Lonely Island guys are super-dope fresh, yo.

I about died when I saw this Saturday night. That had to be one of the best things out of SNL in quiet some time. It had a nice Beastie Boys influence to it too.

I saw that SNL with Jack Black. The Narnia song, the Sbarro skit, and Jack Black’s “King Kong Jam” were the funniest parts of the show, in my opinion.
