Designing The Band is an example design project where we (meaning you and I) create a band from scratch and design a Web site for them based on a user-centered and standards-based design process.
The goal of the project is to illustrate how a music band site can be very cool as well as usable and built with Web standards.
Along the way you (the readers) are encouraged to become involved with the process by asking questions, giving feedback and making comments. In this way I hope to not only share my design process with you, but learn from your experiences as well.
